It is a combination of Diuretic class Drugs known as water pills. It is primarily used for the treatment of Edema ( excessive fluids restored in body tissues) and hypertension

How Frulac 20mg/50mg Tablet 10s works
It combines Spironolactone and Torasemide belonging to the category of aldosterone receptor antagonists and loop diuretics. Spironolactone blocks the aldosterone (a hormone responsible for salt and water balance regulation in the body) and reduces the amount of sodium and water reabsorbed by kidneys resulting in a decrease in fluid retention and low blood pressure. Torasemide helps in the excretion of electrolytes and water from the kidney resulting in decrease in excess fluid buildup in the body.
