Constipation
Nortriptyline may slow the movement of the digestive tract, causing constipation. This can be managed by increasing fluid and fiber intake, but persistent constipation should be discussed with your doctor.
Weight Gain

Blurred Vision
Blurred vision can occur because Nortriptyline affects the nerves that control eye muscles. Gabapentin may also interfere with visual signals. If you notice sudden or severe changes in vision, consult your healthcare provider immediately.
Fatigue
Feeling fatigued or unusually tired is a reported side effect, especially during the first few weeks of therapy. This may be related to changes in sleep patterns and the sedative nature of both drugs.
Nausea
Nausea is occasionally experienced, particularly when starting Gabapin NT 200mg. The body usually adjusts over time, but taking the tablet with food may help reduce stomach upset.
Swelling of Hands or Feet
Gabapentin may cause fluid retention, leading to swelling (edema) in the hands, ankles, or feet. Monitoring for sudden or severe swelling is important, as it may indicate a rare but serious reaction.
Mood Changes
Changes in mood such as increased anxiety, agitation, or depressive symptoms can sometimes occur, particularly with Nortriptyline. If you experience significant mood shifts or suicidal thoughts, seek medical attention immediately.
